Yeah, I spotted it once CM posted the full list. And was surprised. I had not recalled talk about progressive taxation and so I suspected, if it was there, it was buried somewhere in the text. Once CM posted that list, that reminded me of the list but, again, I didn't recall taxation on it. Boom, there it is.

Wish CM would have done the link work. I'm growing tired of folk who post things without links.

So now, presumably, we know that FDR, who I vaguely recall was the president during whose administration a seriously progressive tax structure first came into being, that FDR, as the old line money always thought, was actually a proto-Marxist. ;-) I'm trying to think of one of the famous old monied farts who accused FDR of that. Can't pop it from memory.
