ep,

While I'm no fan of Gray Davis, I do respect and try to adhere to our electoral laws and customs.

If the California voters had wanted to replace Davis, last November's election was the time to replace him. Just because the Republicans idiotically shot themselves in the foot by selecting a dufus like Bill Simon to run does not give the vulgarians in the Repuglican party the right to engage in a subterfuge of democratic processes. It seems to me the GHP lost the governor's race last year fair and square. Riordan would have been a winner, and in fact I rather admire his administrative ability. Unfortunately, his inability to control the insane Right gives no excuse in my book for that same destructive, xenophobic, greed and insane Right to be able to wreck the democratic processes of the State of California.

Republicans are looking like vicious Fascists and anti-democratic jackbooted thugs in this stupid recall battle. The leader of the pack even plays vicious and mercenary bullies in the movies. Anybody checked who Arnold is sleeping with tonight? Probably not his wife.....
