heh, well to be honest there doesn't seem like too much fumbling on the part of govt with the medfly incident then. I remember vaguely some threat to Jerry Brown when he had that wacky self funded presidential candidate thing going on, that somebody was going to show up in a giant medfly costume. Like medfly was some major California screwup or something. sounds ok, I am somewhat amused by Jerry Brown, hes a decent Oakland mayor, after all who wants that job.
