Cadre, csl.t.v, has a big project planned for the river Caroni, just where it joins the Orinoco .... area has been dredged for decades at thirty per cent efficiency or so, their plan is to hoover up several metres depth of the riverbed, sell it all ... great majority of bulk as construction aggregate, since there is open access to the sea from there, but enough gold to make it pay well, a few precious gems and other minerals, including rutile .... i forget the per-tonne estimate of rutile, but it was enough to get quoted in a business plan they made in 1999, as an amount that would effect the bottom line ..... apparently it is quite easy to separate out, in a wash plant/screener setup

They're applying to the MEM now, to get back their concessions that expired a couple of years ago ... if/when that happens, they do a full feasibility, in that we should hear something of rutile
