Nonsense. In Srbenica, UN peacekeepers declared a safe haven, then allowed Serb forces to disarm them and march thousands of refugees for mass execution. Kofi Annan disregarded warnings of impending genocide in Rwanda. When the genocidal massacres began, Belgian peacekeepers withdrew from Kilgali, Rwanda leaving 2500 refugees to be slaughtered the next day. The French armed the forces which committed genocide against the Tutsis before, during and after the period of genocide. Then they put troops on the ground to defend the genocidaires when the Tutsis rose up against them. BTW the Hutu militia controlled Rwanda government was a member of the Security Council while it was committing genocide. But then Libya has been put on the human rights committee and Saddam's government had been put on the disarmament committee.
