No, the Romans only threw out the rebellious Jews out of Jerusalem, the Holy City, after they destroyed the Second Temple, circa 135AD. The rest stayed in the region, or left voluntarily. They were allowed in to pray at the site of the Temple once a year.

Circa 455AD Empress Eudocia abolished the prohibition against Jews entering Jerusalem.

What really did happen is that the Jews lost control of the country to a succession of conquerors and subsequently lost cohesiveness as a territorial entity.

But nobody threw the Jews out of the region.
