I wasn't thinking in terms of an absolute or ideal but at the more practical level. If my experience is contaminated with unfairness then I am motivated to act in a corrective way or to suffer in whatever extent under the injustice. To the extent that I am suffering or striving, my peace (or as kholt clothed it 'calm') is disturbed. To the extent that I am able to overcome, accept, or let go of troubling circumstances my calm (peace) is returned to me, my experience of 'injustice' is vanquished. A direct correlation in this context.
