No. The Enlightenment has not ended. Even as it extends itself, it fights for its life in the worlds of letters, politics and war.

The tirade against modernity by 'anti-Globalist' and the war against modernity by Islamist fundamentalists and by fascists continues.

BTW the book is extremely good. It even has some pages on Georg Simmel who is the best I've read on social implications of money and markets and whose work doesn't get the attention it deserves.
