The article might have some validity if it hadn't referenced Fred Bergsten, director of the Institute for International Economics

One of the most often quoted and wrong, so called authorities on international economics.

After years of following Japanese economic issues I can honestly say no one anywhere has batted better than .250 when it comes to predicting what will happen in Japan.

Flipping a coin 3-4 times would be just as accurate.
