gst, as you know, i disagree with you about the war. i said early on, it was about ditching evil and freeing the oppressed for me. i thought saddam had WMD, but wasn't convinced it would ever impact the US. having said all that, the spin wrt the war i supported has left me wondering about the truthfulness or the competence of bush. it is one or the other. i haven't determined which. i have to admit that what i thought was there likely isn't. wrt taxes, we agree he's out to lunch - with the elite rich.
