Krauthammer, like Shelby Steele in yesterday's WSJ, is just making it up. This farcical claim, the same claim Thomas makes in his court opinion, that minorities are hurt by aa, is stupid and dumb. Check the research guys; check the research. It ain't true. And if you disagree with the research, argue with it. We are in a climate in which political pundits think that the more often claims are repeated the more they are likely to be accepted. Perhaps so; but that doesn't take one step toward making them true. Ugghhh. At least K did not argue, as Steele did, that advocates of AA are anti-American. Talk about self ridicule.
