From the news : U.S. military spokesman Major William Thurmond said commanders may now be more wary of putting a few soldiers in isolated locations. So we will have more and more troops there now? How many are there already? 200,000? And what about the impending invasion of Iran? Where are we going to get the troops for that? Re-instate the draft? Maybe, but not before the 2004 elections, for sure. Maybe after that and maybe 500,000 folks more.... Can you say "quicksand"?
