It's granted that trusting the government is not a wise thing but if this results in more calls and more e-mail spam then I will personally lead the revolution.

I don't believe that. First of all, they just wouldn't. All my instincts as a thirty year fed say they wouldn't. Uncle Sam does some iffy things, but that's not typical of them. And secondly, the penalty for calling is high enough to be a deterrent. Sounds like conspiracy theory to me.

I used to have a device on my phone that prompted callers for a password or the phone wouldn't ring. I still have the box. If worse comes to worse, I could install it again. <g>
