Preserving that freedom is becoming an obsession

Hell, I admit it. Preserving that freedom IS an obsession, and it SHOULD be. It was certainly an obsession with many an American who died preserving freedom in the past.

no one disagrees that Iraq posed no danger to the US.

You must be nuts. Could they defeat us in a war? Of course not. But were they a danger? Absolutely. Could North Korea defeat us in a war? Of course not. Are they a danger? Absolutely. Again, you're thinking like the weak-minded liberal you are.

It really doesn't take a lot of deep thought to figure that if 19 evil people can pull off a 9/11 attack, someone with the backing of Saddam Hussein can do us much greater harm.

I'm not sure what your complaint is. Surely, you don't think the world was a better place with Saddam in office. If you DO, I recommend you relocate to Syria right away.
