William, like the beanies, same thing happened to the
comics market back around 1990. I remember people buying
up books then, for future investment.

Saw a piece on cable on this over the weekend.

People were buying up and saving 5-10 extra books each
(yes - me sometimes also), in hopes of profiting in the future. Foreshadowed the Internet bubble about 8-9
years after...

Result: Many companies and comic stores went bust and closed. Guess these cycles happen to everything. Big thing
I understand now is to play the short side when we see the craze in action.
