Now, it is apparent that there was no 'immediate threat'. We need to find SOMETHING to justify the "preemptive" invasion, else the Bush Doctrine falls on its face. Maybe that's what the Bush Doctrine is supposed to do.....fall on its face! Its a dangerous philosophy birthed by some dangerous people.

The immediate threat was having our military standing around as targets in Kuwait. There was the threat that with all forces there another idiot somewhere else could act as America's ability was tapped out. And sitting around in 100 plus degree tents also takes a toll in lives. kevie your ignorance and stupidity of life shows you know no facts and would not know what they meant if you did. hussy was given a chance and instead played hide the WMD.
