I was going to say something, but you covered it pretty well. Of course, Condi Rice doesn't have the job because she is competent, it is because she is filling a quota. Unh Huh, oh wait, wouldn't Powell have filled the quota? Same with having a Jewish press secretary. Just token Jews, Women and Blacks on Bush's staff. My opinion is that Bush hired the people who could best do the job that needed to be done, regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
