You know, Thomas, sometimes you really do amaze me. For a while there I felt as if I was in a wasteland of hopeless ignorance until you issued this post. My argument is not a real argument in the traditional sense, but a very simple reference to exactly what you've mentioned: a recursive definition. You see this, and apparently very well. It is such a relief that someone understands it. I marvel that so few do when it is so amazingly simple. I think the problem with it is that it is not simplistic. Everyone wants to start in the middle of the thing (!), just ignoring all the glorious and obvious humanity that exists prior to that point. We have surely lost knowledge of what we are in nature, and the increasing acceptance of homosexuality is but one of many pathologies resulting of our ignorance.
