Since European investors tend to be heavily concentrated in large caps, index names, and large, visible multinationals, some of this head wind can be avoided by staying in small cap US stocks.

You can probably add domestic mid-caps to your list as well. Europeans and European mutual funds largely avoid mid-caps (lack of recognition, familiarity???), especially those that don't have much of a European presence.
