There may be some very uptight people who have never grown since their teen years. I am glad to not be acquainted with any personally. Bush is about my age and I know for a fact that 80% and up of the people his age were struggling greatly with whether or not to support the military efforts at the time. Most did not and that defined our social conscience and political position in the world at that time. Giant keggers, smoke and anti-establishment rhetoric filled the air and the media. If Bush was lax in his military commitment (which I don't know or care about), and a partier, he would have been status quo for the time, not some deviant as you have portrayed him to be. I see no indications from people who knew him in his youth that suggest he was a dishonorable person. All indications portray his recent character as being one that was and is upright and decent...and I am talking decades here. Your ranting about this AWOL stuff is pointless. It does not diminish him in anyone else's view and only helps to portray you as an irrationally exhuberant extremist that should not be taken seriously. Now really, there are many political issues that could be chewed upon here that have merit. However, these dissembling personal attacks are without merit and unproductive. Worse, they expose character weakness on your part.
