You still ignore the 20 billion ripped off by Bushies.
Without that, California would have the same per capita deficit now as Texas. And Dai's curent deficit is far less than Bush's on a per capita basis.

As for your pro-business views, we can afford to have a lot of people move out of California. It's way too crowded these days. I live in a formerly quiet neighborhood but in recent years my street is one big traffic jam half the day. It's ridiculous. Cant get away from it unless you're very rich. I say keep the quality of life high and the taxes where they need to be to pay for it. And if we lose some people, fine with me. In fact I wish we would.

Only problem is, very few people ever leave California once they get here. I know one guy who moved to Utah. Now he's moved back. Was bored there and the weather was terrible. same with Nevada. Like an oven 6 months out of the year. And tacky as hell. Oregon would be nice but I'll bet they're over-crowded and raising taxes too. The midwest is cheap but have you ever experienced their weather? Terrible in summer AND winter. Colorado is the only great place if you like to ski but they're overcrowded now too. The south? Same bad weather. Humid 9 months out of the year. I just went to Texas and it was unbearable outside. Without AC you can't even survive. If you dont like the taxes here, why don't YOU move?
