Some great conversation going on here in the last few posts.
I think it is good to "let it all hang out" and put forth the
rationale for our positions. I just want to add another
similar table to one put forth earlier today. This one has
a little more time span than the earlier one.

This table shows the difference between 2/14/03/ and this
weekend, a period of almost 5 months. The table shows the
changes in analyst ratings of each stock in the Group
between the 2 dates. Note how the Strong Buy, Buy and Hold
ratings have dropped while the Under Perform rating has
risen sharply.

You are looking at things from the point of view of numbers. I have lived these times. It has been 40 years since I used my first computer and longer since I started following the market. The numbers don't tell the story. The world has changed dramatically and technology has changed the most. The price/performance of silicon has been doubling since the mid sixties. It is doubling now from a very powerful base. The number and importance of silicon applications is accelerating. The introduction and acceptance rate of new applications is accelerating.

It will become increasingly more difficult to pick the mines that will strike gold, but the true suppliers of technology's picks and shovels have an incredible future ahead. There is no question in my mind that I have done a good job in identifying the best suppliers of picks and shovels.

I am content to hold and wait. I think I have distilled all the wisdom of my lifetime to produce a plan with 8 stocks. I don't mind that there is no agreement with me.

The difficulty will come when I must decide to take a 3 to 5 bagger or wait for another double.
