Hey, if you are a liberal City Councilman that wants to be "in" at the local Art gatherings, what better way? I think you trivialize the issue...standing up to the power of the Federal Government is not a decision made lightly. All the complaints about the Patriot Act are really about how they treat immigrants. The issue is the lack of oversight...all that stands between the Act and abuse is the goodwill of its executors, something not to be taken for granted in any case.
