Well, I'm sure that those who made the mongrelization argument didn't think it was wrong, either. Today, there are many lesbian couples who have their own children through the same means as infertile couples. Male (and female) couples adopt kids who may otherwise have to grow up without parents. If anything, these couples seem to be more loving and careful with their children, because of their position. The 'nature' argument simply does not fly in today's world.
