Haqi,

You cannot compare Hitler to Saddam. Hitler had a clear intent to take over the world. He was actively pursuing that goal when the US entered the war. Remeber that Chekoslavkia, Austria, Poland, The Netherlands and France were already conquered.

Saddam is/was a bad boy too, but he was a pig in his own shit. His expansionist ideas melted in the Gulf War. All we had to do was strangle him out. Took three weeks to snuf him out. It took years to defeat Hitler. Hitler was well armed and had superior technology.

Pacifisism does not work in the face of an attack indeed. But attacking another country under false pretenses is wrong too. We do not want to become the next Hitler.

Consider the case of Syria as you have. Do they really have WMD? Are we sure? Is there direct evidence of WMD? It would not be right to attack Syria on the notion that they might have WMD, and then find none there too.

As for bombing any muslim country, that would be wrong too. Consider what you are saying and you will clearly see that this statement is wrong.
