Gore-Lieberman tried to wage a "nice" campaign and not respond to the nasty attacks. It didn't work. Like Clinton said recently, and Kerry always reminds us in his speeches, Americans want someone "strong" even if he is wrong. So as a Kerry supporter, I am going to be strong as hell. And right not wrong. Every hateful malicious attack from the right we must respond to if we can. With facts not just name-calling. That nasty disinformation cannot be allowed to get out without being strongly challenged and debuked by evidence. Expect 2004 to be a much tougher battle for the Republicans. They wont be able to get away with half as many of their dirty tricks.
