Any of you Hippie folks know anything about Transcendental
Meditation?

Anyone know anyone who does it?

I suppose it is different than simply closing one's eyes
while listening to breathing and slipping into a deep state
of relaxation.

I've been meditating (not TM) for a couple of days now and it seems
to help me deal with stress and also makes me feel rather
good throughout the day. I feel at peas with the whirled.

I figured I have a good group of hippies here who might
know a thing or two about this topic or the Maharishi dude.

It appears that to do TM it requires a little bit of
instruction (which also comes with a price tag).

Since TM seems to relate with a lot of the stuff discussed
around this place such as Nature, The Quantum Field,
Peace, etcetera, I thought it would be a worthy subject to
delve into. It also seems to help stay in tune with the
inner self (or would that be the outerself). Health
benefits are there as well.

Although this message is pointed to Ratso, I really mean
to direct it to all of you. Polvo, Rose, Lurq, Scoot,
Alt19, TS, Red, Poet, JA, HG, Deals, JPG, and the rest of
those who I don't have on the tip of my brain or might be
lurking NNBMers.

I'm trying to learn a little bit more about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

edward james almost-

yeah, i hear you. and it's a problem we already have
a solution for but we can't agree on implementation of
the solution. meanwhile, nature will eventually take
care of any detrimental overpopulation, if we don't.

personally, i'm with nature on this one - perhaps it's
her way of forcing life off the planet... to boldly go
where no... blah, blah, blah, etc., etc.

mother nature: "get outta my nest li'l birdie - you can
fly now."

just rattling my tongue...
and not very seriously...
