Graystone, typing "Joel" did indeed bring up "W.F. Godot". The only explanation I can think of (since this works whether I seach profiles or aliases only) is that his prior alias contained "Joel" and the index hasn't been updated since he changed it? Would that be accurate?

BTW, I also note that none of the 49 other "Joel"s has posted in the last year. Typing "Fred" or "John" doesn't yield any "most recent post" data at all.

Edit: Oops, I see that on 5/28 SI Bob wrote: "I noticed earlier that if I did a People Search on someone using their current alias, they weren't found, but it worked fine if I used their original alias." Message 18981603.
