Hi Kerry,

$300 to $315 as a new low, maybe sooner rather than later in the calendar year Can't say I really disagree here as I've thought about that. I may be painting a rosy picture although and I think 300$ is not likely. (Now we'll get Prechter's 255 ;o) I guess that means Jay likes you even less LOL... I agree this broader market can go further... I don't think the news is so good or bad but I still don't see any march towards meaningful improvement. I still believe in my 'US economy will tread water' which doesn't mean the market can't go up and there is a lot of inertia to overcome keeping her up.. I posted these thoughts here a while back to energyplay and he has certainly been bang on for market direction.

Gold.. I should say metals instead of gold. I have a strong bent this go for base metals or companies that have both gold and base metals to balance purer gold plays. I've recently added IVN.TO, BWR.TO and have a nice whack now of NGX (gold and copper) along with RIC.TO, and BGO. Not exactly a gold only portfolio. I still see China as the engine of the future and the US (and Canada to an extent) and others will be hanging on to her coattails.. One might say Japanese stocks are now catching up ? Maybe I'm reading too much of Zeev's iHub thread :o)

Japan printing > 10K... good for the QQQ's ? buy some EWJ ? Too late ?

Are you looking for much more on Japan here ? My indecision killed me on CHN. I see now that I should have gone with the spidey sense and only started sniffing in the 22-22.50 range.. If it weren't for my mistakes I'd be retired already :o)

regards
Kastel
