The Times, ran a poll that asked people whether they agreed with the following statement about Blair: “I wouldn’t trust him further than I could throw him.” That was apparently a serious question, and 54 per cent agreed with the perfectly unbiased statement.

If "the White House has made it known they don't want it to go into the election period", and yet they are prevented from meeting their deadline of May 2004... then what happens?

Do they just throw up their hands and pretend it never happened?
