Glenn, Re: Given Kerry's foreign policy background, I personally don't think that Clark would add much to a Kerry ticket. Well now there I'd tend to disagree. With Kerry vulnerable to a smear campaign over his anti-war stance after serving honorably in Vietnam, Clark would be able to take Karl Rove out to the woodshed and give him a big case of whuppass. Politics is going to be mean in 2004. Rove and Bush will pull out all the stops, and the Democrat's best ticket, as far as I can see is Kerry/Clark. It's pretty unassailable on the basis of C.V.s And I doubt that Rove could turn up any real dirt. Just his usual dirtball smear campaign horse-doo. Which the Dems would be wise to learn to counter with a good offense. I see Bush as a weak-minded tyrant, ready to be taken down by an aggressive bout of truth telling. :) Besides that, considering a Southern strategy, Clark is a hubba-bubba from Arkansas. Just as good as Edwards, who looks to be not even able to carry his own home state of North Carolina due to the way he's alienated and neglected the homeys. And Edwards has a short public C.V. He writes well, looks lovely and is a fine man. He simply lacks the time in the saddle that the Dems need next year.
