Yep... that 'weak defense' did S-O-O-O-0 badly in Iraq and Afghanistan....

Too bad that discressionary spending under Bush II is increasing at twice the Clinton era rate (even rising faster than under Carter, and only about 40% of it - by GAO figures - is 'defense related').

Even worse that most of this increased federal spending is with borrowed money... cause the interest costs on it will go on, and on, and on.
