It is you who needs a clue. Even if the US troops are 50-60 percent of the total, the UN umbrella gives it legitimacy.

Look at Kosovo. US might be more than 50 percent of the NATO forces there, but because it is NATO and not the US alone, things are far more quiet.

We need UN peacekeepers in Iraq. UN and NATO. Help!
But Bush made enemies of them by calling them "irrelevant", remember? As he was falsifying evidence to trick congress and the American People into supporting unilateral action.
So now is Bush too proud to admit he made mistakes and to ask for help? The world will forgive but only if Bush starts telling the truth.
