Funny you should mention snow plowing - do a MSN search on "Vermont budget" and you'll find several links to stories about how last winter's heavy snowfalls are what busted the budget. I guess Bush caused that, huh?

BTW, I've spent much time in the Rutland area (probably a few years all together) and a bit in other parts as well. I've even skied in 20-below weather. The corduroy at Stowe is great once the ball-bearings have been skied off. ;-) I love Vermont. Never been to the Northeast Kingdom, though.

if it was so easy, why was vermont facing the biggest deficit in their history?

i'm not gonna argue doing the right thing is necessarily hard. i'm gonna argue that it is darn near impossible with all the bribe money floating around all the characterless politicians (on both sides).

dean is different, though. he makes sound financial decisions where others don't - including republicans.

i'm afraid he makes too much fiscal sense, though... and so he doesn't have a chance with all the special interest groups hammering him.
