Obviously I have been quite wrong for several months.

Well join a well filled club. More than once in the past year, I've felt the market had a baseball bat with my name on it. Only, suggestion I have is to be careful and use good risk management techniques. Everyone has their own theories. Mine is the obvious. Temporarily, an equilibrium market balanced between a contracting economy and a furiously inflating/manipulating Fed. While the balance is not (IMO) long term stable, that doesn’t mean it can’t endure long enough, to ruin anyone that consistently misplays it - long or short. OTOH, if you can (I’m still trying) play a range bound market right, you can make money “coming and going”. Always “easier said than done”, of course. But hey all it takes is figuring out what the range is and when its going to turn. Right?
