IMO, Huffington is a busybody nutball hack, but she's right with this sentence..

If the recall is allowed, Davis will resign, Bustamante takes over, the recall is cancelled and the Democrats have an almost unbeatable Governor in there for the next ten years, as well as another big name national Hispanic political star. The last thing the GOP wants.
