OBL's brothers and father were invested in Carlyle Group with the Bushes and James Baker until the day after 9-11. Does that mean anything to you? Could there have been some inadvertent funding of terrorism through Carlyse just as there was more openly through the BCCI Bank? Funny how the Bushies never mention OBL anymore. As if they'd like his memory to just go away. Saddam though is still boogey man number one. How they let them both get away is beyond me. The world isn't that big a place. Somebody must be hiding them both. To find them we need more international help and cooperation. And we need the UN inspectors back too to help search for nasty weapons. Why did Bushies not let the UN inspectors return? Doesn't make any sense. Just Bushie pride?

Put it this way....the news was factual that the treasures were indeed GONE....so the wasn't totally wrong that it was all missing.....but good thing they have been found I don't know about the brotherinlaw.....if so that would be a more direct tie for sure. But they have been kidnapping for a long time....they are also Muslims fighting for indepence within the Philippines, so I don't really think the international terrorism thing really applies to them. The reasons for his support may have little to do with America and more about the island of Mindinao which is very close to Indonesia..... CC
