Where did the phrase "suspend the constitution" come from? I think it was me who said it to characterize the effect the executive orders would have on the country. To me the rights I would lose if these executive orders were enforced that I have already shown you would in my way of thinking be "suspending the constitution". That wording may not be exactly that way in an EO but the effect of the thousands that could be enforced does take all of my rights. So what's the difference? A few words in a phrase that was a quote from me and the EO's that take my rights under the constitution away. You've made no point here. The rights are gone if the EO's are enforced regardless of the terminology. FDR was challenged to the Supreme Court several times for things he did and he lost. That's why he wanted to pack the Court. he would have needed a Constitutional Amendment with 2/3rds vote but maybe he could have gotten it. He WAS a sort of dictator.
