The Hollywood Ten were identified in 1946 by the House Unamerican Activities Committee (HUAC). Joe McCarthy never served in the House, nor did he get elected to the Senate until 1947. Your facts are screwed up, as usual.

Mr. McCarthy ruined the professional lives of many Americans Sen. McCarthy "named names" only when forced by Democrats to do so. Most of the names he was forced to divulge were those of communist spies and sympathizers who worked in the U.S. government. The Venona cables later proved that McCarthy's list was correct, but missed some spies. Hey, nobody's perfect!
