Everybody who pays attention knows that we are being attacked because the job is not completed. Did you think it would be easy to uproot a regime and erase every dissident barbarian in the country in a matter of months?

As I said, there are still 5% of the Iraqi population who are against us. That's about 1.5 million people. They, along with imported terrorist partners, will need to be dealt with before true independence emerges.

Let me help you out here Jacob......

There were at least 75000 hard core Saddam Hussein loyalists in several Republican Guard elite units that were forced to fight to the end against advancing American and coalition forces(their Generals, Colonels, and ranking officers had already fled to Syria)these loyalists threw away their uniforms and went into hiding, underground, so to speak, to come back another day.................

well this is another day, they are back and they are taking their toll on American forces..........

they have moved in with the common folks and if they get any crap from them they simply kill them or worse.

It is a very difficult situation for our forces to deal with, but they are slowly and surely addressing it by using their own counter intelligence infiltrators into the communities to try and ferret out the Rep Guard baddies.

We are not about to let free elections go forward until Jimmy Carter and Jesse Jackson can get over there to oversee the election polls, that should be soon I hear.
In the event they can't make it over we still want to be sure that the real honest guy Iraqis are the ones running for office....takes time.....

I know that you are way out of the loop Jacob so I trust this info will give you a new and informed perspective on the Iraqi situation...

regards

Polling in Iraq...let's see...
Will we send imbedded reporters to do the polling? They should probably take along a bunch of US servicemen with machine guns when taking the polls, to encourage honest answers to polling questions.
