My son might have to go to Iraq next year, so I sincerely hope things are not as dangerous there by then. Of course, I don't want to see any more US soldiers killed or injured, but it's a lot closer to home when family mambers are involved.

HEard a news report today the Iraqi civilians were cheering in the street (just as Cheney predicted), only they gathered to cheer the fatal attack on an American. Wonder how that soldier's family feels? Maybe Fox will follow up with an interview of the soldier's survivors. They also said the 3rd inf. div. morale was low and getting lower. Won't be long and their frustrations will start getting taken out on the Iraqi's, increasing the vicious circle.
