Democrats have never retaliated for the 7 million dollar Enron-GOP TV campaign run by now RNC head Ed Gillespie which spread disinformation throughout California during the energy crisis and tried to blame it on Davis. But now there is plenty of evidence of the 20 billion ripoff perpetrated by close Bush cronies. The GOP makes Davis out to be a dunce but he's actually a brilliant politician. He will either win the recall or step aside and let a stronger Democrat take over. But first, the legal challenges. Davis doesn't have to do anything yet but try to work out the budget problems. The GOP state assembly are the ones refusing to go with a compromise budget bill, which really hurts the state a la Newt Gingrich.
