No fable....as the discoveries in Iraq and the knowledge we had of the regime prior to the war clearly illustrate...unless you are a partisan ninny of course.....

There was/is a Saddam threat, just not an imminent terrible one as the Bushies told us.

The worst part was not the invasion itself but the lack of planning for the aftermath, the smearing of the UN and other allies and the phony intel used to argue for war.
