I take it for granted, unlike you, that the various intelligence services went about their jobs professionally, and that if there any spinning, it was at the margins. For that reason, I cannot conclude that there were no WMDs, I can only conclude that they were moved yet once more (something the Iraqis have had a lot of practice doing), or that they were spilled into the sand towards the outbreak of war, in order to deny the United States justification for the war.

By the way, I have repeatedly said that I did not think we were about to be attacked, nor do I think the Administration made that the basis of its case. Rather, it based its case on the futility of inspections, and the need to bring this to some kind of close......
