The Israelis said the same about the Patriot missiles in the first Gulf War. Old George denied their claims even though Tel Aviv was full of Scud holes. The Israelis built their own anti-missile missile, and the Yanks kept on pumping the Patriot, which now does a great job of shooting down British fighter planes. Welcome to the US military complex, and its penchant for "friendly fire" and unbelievable propaganda.
