Ya sure, marcos, Bush wasted eight months slogging it out in the UN with France throwing up obstructions and double-crosses all the way because he really WANTED to waste his time like that, not becuase he LISTENED to Colin Powell or Tony Blair or anybody else. I know we all like to say "there was never honest debate" when it doesn't go the way we like. Nobody likes to admit that the other side had more power, conviction & persuasiveness - the whole setup must have been rotten. Yeah, that's it. They shouldn't be in the White House, we should be! But of course part of the problem was that the other side ground to a halt when the next logical step was asked - so, how would you deal with the problem of failing containment, terrorism, and an uncowed Saddam? Actually being in power means you have to do something, not just carp.
