Do I have to spell it all out for you? He sold the tax cut as an economic stimulus. If he has no control over the economy, that's another lie.

Perhaps you don't understand it, but all tax bills originate in the House and then are compromised with the Senate.

As I've said before, the economy is in control of Congress. The president can merely make recommendations which Congress may or may not approve...
