Chuck, If, to your post, i would add a little marcos, a healthy dose of bill and a pinch of rascal to get the right brew. It may as you say take a long time but this narrow based insurrection may widen because of the reasons we get from marcos and rascal. Republicans as bill says may have six months, but iraq may not. Using the indigenous hopefully will have a better outcome than it did in vietnam. This is tough stuff and although bush team is tough, we need to see how quick they are to adapt to changes on the ground. Right now can only give them a C on policy and adaptablility. I dont think 6 months of this is doable--not because of casualties but because of indigneous folks antipathy to foreign rule. Mike
