Bullcrap. No Senator held up "Roosevelt Knew" headlines eight months after Pearl Harbor.

That's because no one could prove that he lied to the nation eight month after Pearl Harbor.

You would think so......I mean with PH we got badly attacked by a real foreign power who was bent on going to war with us. This was no terrorist act by an unseen enemy who had no sovereignty; this was an attack by the powerful Jap. Empire, one of the well armed Axis powers.......so much for Bush's originality.

However, think again.......guess what.......the GOP, your fav, had numerous investigations started not only against FDR directly but against the Navy Admirals and Army Generals who they thought were in cahoots with FDR. And they didn't wait until after this World War, what some call the Great War, was done but rather they attacked him throughout the war.

In fact, Clare Luce.....you know who she was......a major conservative figure during the war and a rabid hunter of communists wrote the comment below. Oh yeah, sorry....she wasn't a senator but just a Rep. congresswoman.

Enjoy!

"Former Congresswoman Clare Boothe Luce found the right expression when she charged Roosevelt with having lied us into war."
