Again, I have not been following the case so I would not defend Pollard but many wonder if he was indeed the cause of the execution of those cia agents in Russia. All I can say is that was the reason for the severity of the sentence. Argument were brought fourth that Russians had far more spies in fbi and cia than they had in Israel's DoD. I don't follow why that point, whether true or not, has a bearing on Pollard's case. It isn't obvious from the statement. jttmab
